I just had a crazy thought...

Some of you 08er's will be preggo by the time I (OR THOSE OF US LATER IN THE YEAR) get married!!! Some of you could be as much as like 6-7 months along!!!

How exciting is that???

hahahaha......i have a question......i dont want anyone to take it the wrong way - but do some people get married just so they can have a baby? it seems like some people are in such a rush after they get married.....like do they think being married makes it 'okay' to have a kid.....if you want a baby that badly what's the big deal if you had before you were married? or what if you dont want one until 5 years after you were married??

but anyway - you are right i bet a lot of people might actually have a baby by the time i get married!! all of the 08ers will be married off by my date!

if i got pregnant now, it wouldn't be a big deal, we would be thrilled, but i don't want to b/c of that dress that's been ordered!!!

we're not planning on having a baby right after we get married, but if it happens, we're all for it.
but i think that if it happened before we were married it's fine

i don't think people think that being married make s them think it is ok to have a baby, but some people DO like to be married before starting a family and you never know someone's situation. Maybe they have problems and only have a certain time frame to get pregnant.

I think whatever floats your boat is a-ok with me, outside of marriage, after marriage, but whenever people decide, it's their decision and you don't know what circumstances are lying behind that.

I wouldn't be upset if I got preggers now but I am traditional and would like to be married first. Losing my father taught me how short life is, we want to have children young and the way life has been going for us, we plan to get married 2/29 and move by summer. We want a baby by 2009. That's just our plan....

to each their own.

Old schoolers think we should be married and knocked-up by the time we are 20. My grammy and grampy said that I had to get pregnant asap after the wedding so that they can see great grankids before they die

Old schoolers think we should be married and knocked-up by the time we are 20. My grammy and grampy said that I had to get pregnant asap after the wedding so that they can see great grankids before they die

I was like, you are young, you have plenty of time... we aren't rushing!

Thats why we may RUSH it ., my parents are OLD. his grandmother is old., my grandfathers are sick, and I want them all in my un-born child's life for a bit.

Some of us are a little older and don't have time to wait 5 years or so. When you are in your 30's when you get married, you ,I would think anyway, more likley to have children quicker. As far as waiting to after you get married, I can say for myself, I have a 12yr old that I had when I was 20. After I had him I decided I would not have anymore children until I was married.

good for you. I'm the opposite. my mom is young and so are my grandparents. FH's family is a bit older than mine...

But I agree. I think if god forbid they were deathly ill, i might think about getting started a lot quicker!

hahahahaha i want to wait until we are a little bit older and we have a house and have a few years to enjoy being married - we havent really had the chance to do a lot of traveling or go on vacations because we have been saving for things for the last 4 years LOL - saving to move out, saving to buy a piece of property in florida, saving for a house, FH was stashing away $ for my e-ring, now we are saving for the wedding lol......but hopefully once its all said and done we can get a house and then for a few years we can do what we want before starting a family....maybe like when i'm 40 - lol j/k j/k j/k......no seriously kids are hard work and i see how they change your life and i want to get some things out of my system first before i become soccor mom of the year
