So i went to the milleridge cottage and wasnt too impressed but then went to larkfield manor and LOVED it..i met with Harry who was soo nice and so helpful..he made me fall in love lol...i went there by myself (FH had grad school tonight) so i gotta still take him but the price was very reasonable and i was very happy with it!!!!!

one thing i DO suggest - is bring someone who is not you or your FH or parents... i brought my best friend to look at a hall with me and little things i was picking out that i didnt like (like the color of the carpet and the ceiling pattern) she slapped some reality in me and was like 'umm yeah no one is going to notice that' so it was nice to have someone else there with me who was not the bride, groom or parents... but yeah DEF bring your FH before making final decisions!!!

i found myself being SOOOOO picky over the littlest things and then when i brought my best friend with me she helped me realize that some things i obssess over arent a huge deal in the long run

just a suggestion!

and I thought that I was the only one who did that

Thats so exciting that you found a place you love! I would definitely still look at CLM just so you dont wonder. You never know you might go there and feel like its not the right place for your wedding. It can't hurt to look

I LOVED Larkfield manor when i went there!!! its just too far for some of our guests!!!

it was our 2nd choice! i met with frank but all in all it was a great experience meetin with him.

i have heard nothing but great things about Larkfield Manor. I was actually going to look at that next but when i saw the watermill, i feel in love with it. my friend's brother is getting married at Larkfield Manor this august and him and his FI absolutely love it! she said that the place is beautiful, the food is really good and the price was awesome! it's definitely a good pic if you decide to go with it! good luck with the rest of your planning!!
