I have been feeling so overwhelmed lately about the wedding planning and things that are going on with family. I am getting to the point where I don't really care anymore and I wish that it was over already. If we weren't contractually responsible for paying $$ for the wedding I would just cancel the whole thing, do something small and call it a night. People outside of FH and I are making me really really mad lately and I am not at liberty to confront them about it at this point. Can't go into details about why, but it's just a very frustrating situation and what makes it worse is I have to hold it all inside to protect others. I can't take it anymore and all I want to do is cry. I feel so depressed. Am I the only one who is having pre-wedding blues?

I am stressed, but it's because I have so much going on with the wedding and buying a house soon. I am so sorry that you are going thru such a rough time! Can you talk to FH about it to release some stress? I wish we could help you more... Here are some hugs and prayers that everything starts to get better for you!

OHHH You are not alone i tottaly understand how you feel.. I have to hold alot of things in too and its bothering me soo much and believe me i say it every single day i wish i just got married in Vegas... Its crazy and not worth the stress .. so You have to sit back take a deep Breath and say SCrew it whatever happens happens im not getting crazy over it .. Its not worth it.. I had the WORST STRESS RASH on my Face for over a week I Looked like ROCKY.. It was bad ,, I cant keep doing that to myself.. If you need to talk Im here

I have felt the same way the past few months...its only for the past few days that I have started feeling excited (still stressed- but now excited too!)
As it gets closer, there will be highs and lows...but in the end- you will remember why you went through it all when you have a gorgeous wedding.

Yeah, We bought a house too and are moving to PA a month before the wedding. Just a little extra stress to add to the pile!

i'm sorry! i know exactly how you feel...certain people are making me want to rip my hair out! Just remember, it will be over faster than you think, and although people are being jerks, try to ignore it as best as you can!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I can relate... basically my entire life has been chaos since I became engaged in March. Thank goodness we only have about 6 weeks to go... I finished my master's degree, bought a house, got engaged, and I'm getting married all within a 6 month time period. Just try to stay calm... this is one of the most emotional time periods of your life, so you can't expect it to only be happy stuff. PRACTICE YOGA! Not just the stretching, the breathing too. I swear it works wonders!!

I have been there adn its a bad feeling because we should really be enjoying this.....just remember you can NOT please everyone and your wedding is about YOU and FH....don't give ANYone the 'power' to make you miserable with this.....try your hardest to just enjoy it

Can I join the party? I can't wait for the wedding to just be over. I've been so depressed I think I gained 5 pounds this month...and to make it worse I can't afford it since my dress fit like a glove and my seamstress is in Greece for the summer...
Between home, family, and his work...I really can't take the stress anymore. I feel like a doormat.

Trust me sweety you are not alone. Both my and FH families have been driving us both insane!
Originally Fh wanted a honeymoon type wedding but I had to have the one with the whole family there ... I swear he is never going to let me live this one down.

I feel the same exact way. For the past several months, I have been wishing I could cancel it, but I can't take the $$$ loss so it is what it is. I've had so many headaches in particular with people I invited (not rsvping, changing from yes to no, not making my minimum), not to mention the stress of having to pay so much $$$ and now with the wedding 10 days away I feel like I'm not going to get everything done! Ughhhh, so I totally feel your pain and if I could go back & do it over, I would have had something reallllly small & that's it. Don't worry though, in the end it'll all work out

No you are not alone. FH told me he has been having chest pains for the past few days over not being able to afford this wedding. I told him I have been having chest pains for 6 MONTHS! And our wedding is in three weeks!!!!!

I can remember feeling the same way that you do during the weeks preceeding my wedding day. At one point, we decided to cancel everthing, and just elope. We were serious, too! I was arguing with everyone, totally stressed out, concentrating a lot on the people who I wanted there but are no longer with us,,,,,,but let me tell you.........the wedding was awesome. you're day is coming!!!!!!!! It will be here very soon, and trust me all the stress is worth it! Don't worry so much about hurting other people. Thi sis YOUR day and its all about you and FH. Nobody else.
