I just love the antique look of the flowers and thought it might fit my vintage theme better (and I thought it would look great with my dress). I would ask my florist to leave out the pink flowers (and maybe add a few dark red one)
BTW...my colors are wine/champagne/ivory

They are both pretty. I think it depends on your theme ... you can change the yellow flowers on the first one and add creme roses or cym. orchids (the ivory ones) and it will have a more antique feel. The ribbon and pearls can be added to any BoK

would depend. LOVE colors of first but if ' theme' is antique second one would be better to go with. Perhaps there is a way to make a similar bouquet like second but with some color of the first?

I was thinking of asking the florist to add a few deep red flowers to the second. do you think that would look ok?

They are both gorgeous... if you are going for that vintage look, definitely #2.
Personally, I fell in love with #1 ever since I saw it in your avatar. I'm going with that one for myself!
