I knew the relationship was over when...

His 'other' girlfriend called me to intoduce herself. It wasn't so friendly, but then we got to talking and realized who the real jerk was. You should have seen the look on his face when we both showed up at his house!

There was another guy that I swiftly kicked to the curb after he told me that he loved me on our second date. When I kicked him out of my house he called me from a pay phone crying. Yeah, okay psycho!!!!

My hs sweethear (hate that expression) dated for 5 years!! I knew it was over when we came into a sticky situation and the girl he was hooking up with upstate at school answered the phone and wouldn't let me talk to him, sounds strange, but FM for more info. Its very personal.

But hey, he's now my Best Friend and is in our wedding. go figure.

If I started posting, I wouln't finish.

But however .........

I knew it was over when he wasn't doing jack sh*t for me and my daughter. I did more for us than he did and I knew we could better with out him.

I $hit you not. I was in therapy for a year over that one.....

He started a huge fight with me at my good friends wedding (I was her BM) and then he left me there!!

I *do* have a few more- these are all different:

I knew it was over when:

1) I just didn't love him anymore.

2) The day after I took my boards, he didn't even bother to ask me how they went.

3) We were in Atlantic City and we left at separate times. He told me he'd call me when he got home. 14 hours later, he called me. . . and I heard slot machines in the background. He hadn't let the casino yet. 14 HOURS!

4)I saw him at work and he looked right through me, as if I didn't exsist. Yah. That one was painful.

5) He didn't kiss me hello when I picked him up from the airport.

6) He didn't even bother to hide it when another girl walked by and he gave her the once over. Oh yeah, that and he had an occasional cocaine habit. Whoever said that above, yeah, I hear you on that one! (only found out about that waaaaaay after I dumped him.)

There's a whole lotta crap out there, isn't there? So that's why I saw I knew it was really over when I met my FH.

he asked for some space.. what is it and men with the 'space'? I am so glad I met my fiance.

I can't believe you girls have to deal with such crap... we're all better off without the loser we've left behind. Thank goodness for all of our FH's!! We love them so!!!!

ok in all fairness I'll post mine because I have a few doozys....

1. (2002) When he showed up drunk at my house at 5am and then woke up at 8am to take a leak in my backyard!!! (Yes this was the same ex who started the fight with me at the dais of my cousin's wedding)

2. (1992) When he told me he cheated on me with 5 girls in one weekend, but he wanted to stay together.

3. (1994) When he was flirting with my friend right in front of me on Valentine's Day.

4. (1996) When he told me that when we get married and get a house that his mother would live with us.

5. (1993) When he constantly accused me of cheating on him even though I wasn't. His best friend was one of my managers and was putting ideas in his head. I told him if he kept accusing me of it, I may as well cheat on him since I was already guilty of it in his eyes.

I knew it was over when he had the nerve to call my dad and tell him (all lies of course) that I had a drinking problem and was a pothead and then proceeded to tell my dad that all my sisters and brothers were too! LOSER LOSER LOSER LOSER LOSER LOSER

Way to long to post... to many losers... the top three are:

1) Called my nephew a thing.. and could be in the same room as him b/c it was looking at him.. No future there...

2) Kissed a girl my best-friend hung out with.. Like I wont find out.. how stupid are you???

3) Found him in bed with another girl... Nice!!!

Ha I just remembered more....

Ok and this was the same person!!!

When he called my dad to complain about how I was killing his baby...(long story!)

When after we broke up and I moved from Brooklyn to Queens, he followed me home from work one night and I found him there on the stoop when I left for work the next morning!!

When he ran up my ENTIRE ANSWERING MACHINE TAPE with insane messages and even after that STILL kept calling!!!

When we went to FL so that I could visit my grandma in a retirement community and was so jealous he wouldn't even let me go visit her by myself!!!

Augh!! I am so glad to be rid of that psycho!!!

Another guy I remembered told me he loved me on the second date....

I also knew it was over when I woke up one day and realized I had fallen hard for him and knew the feelings weren't mutual

I knew it was over when he didn't show up on Valentine's Day. I didn't get a call or anything until 4am when I got home from waitressing. He tried to say he fell asleep....yeah sure ya did.

I knew it was over when I couldn't bring myself to sleep with him.

I knew it was over when he told me he was out with his best friend and I just didn't believe him. he kept swearing he wasn't cheating and I just couldn't believe him.

now in hindsight....

I wouldn't even have the time to tell you ladies when I knew the relationship was over. But for some reason I put up with it all for 4 1/2 yrs.

And then it was over

A year and half later my Prince Charming walked through the door, I looked at my friend and said 'that's the one...' and from that night on...

well, you guys know the rest!
