Original post by kate0211

i could be the most indecisive person on the planet!!! so remember i was posting about how i got my beautiful romona keveza gown at the filenes thing in boston? well now im having second thoughts about it. i KNEW THAT WOULD HAPPEN!!! i was there alone bc no one could go...and i made the decision alone, and now i cant stop thinking about my original dress from davids.

someone help! what if i made the wrong decision?? i called my mom and told her and she was like 'well what do we do now with this dress you just bought...' and i don't want them to just be out the money. i duno. ill post pics of both...someone help me :(

the one i bought isn't white, and has no beads...i duno if it's the white thing that has me hung up..i dont know. im practically in tears because im all alone making these decisions and i hate it.

i have to disagree with the above posters ( sorry girls no offense)

buying a dress isnt some miraculous event - it is just purchasing something that you are going to wear.

you know those clothes that you buy and you are SUPER excited about them? well, now imagine that you cant wear that shirt for over a year and you stare at it every single day - guess what? you probably arent going to like it!

I think the dress i beautiful. . . and the fabric looks amazing! my mother is a seamstress so i am BIG on fabric - trust me my mom is such a fabric snob she had a hard time liking MY dress!

i bought my dress and i love it - and so far, i am happy with my decision BUT i refuse to stare at it for hours a day bc then i will probably hate it! it is bound to happen!

I am not saying that you should definitely keep the dress - i am just saying that you shouldnt feel bad bc you dont have some kind of cosmic connection to it!! yes, definitely consider a new dress if that is what you want - but dont second guess yourself if you really DO love the dress. . .

i hope that didnt sound too mean but i felt GUILTY that i didnt cry when i saw my dress. . .YES guilty! i actually LIED and said that i cried bc i cry FOR EVERYTHING. . . i cried the first day i went for dresses just bc i couldnt believe i was wearing a wedding dress. . . B U T when i put on my dress i was just happy and no damn tears! lol idk in the end i know its important but its just a dress. . . an important dress i understand that - but - dont put tooooo much importance into it!

sorry this was so long LOL

I like the first pic (the small pic) better. You could always sell the dress on ebay.

I agree, maybe you should try the first one on, or on again

I definately think you should be happy in what you are wearing. Maybe you can put it on ebay or craigslist? Then you won't lose as much money. I think from what you are tying... you know in your heart you don't want that dress.

i think you should go with your gut...i like the one you bought and you look so happy in it....if you think its plain......you can just dress it up with a fancy veil and jewelry....
