Dh will be here for the birth and a bit afterwards but then will be leaving for a couple months.

It's not ideal for me, I'm pretty worried about the deployment and being a new mommy by myself in Florida(the grandma's are coming down the first two weeks but we don't want them in the house for our last few days.. so everone will be gone by time he leave) with family pretty far but I think it will work out for the best he will miss the newborn stage but will be back for the fun infant stuff and especially the birth which especially important to us, we wanted to make sure he got to meet his little guy before he left.

I just figured I would give you all an update most of your agreed that this would be the *most* ideal time and luckily it worked out that way for us. I don't really like talking about it but I figured some of you might light to know what was the outcome.

Hopefully baby Jack will show up a week or so early so he can spend some extra time with his Dad!

Edited to add.. I am suffering some pretty insane allergies right now and the sudafed is kickig my butt so sorry about any typos..

I don't know where he goes for business trips and especially since he is a pilot I don't disucss movements even if I did, sorry.

He's extremely well trained and I know when he should be leaving and when he should be returning approx and that is about it.

Probably better that way so you dont have to worry, my good friend just left for Iraq 2 weeks ago. he got married on week prior to leaving. I feel so bad for his wife becuase she is really worried.

Anyway, I think the timing is good that you have planned becuase I have heard that newborns basically eat and sleep and cry after a few month is when all the exciting moments start ( smiling, cooing etc.)
