I know this has been asked before...BUT - MYSTIC TAN???????

Anyone have any experiences they can share with me?
2 girls at my office do it and look amazing and I am thinking of trying it for my friends wedding next weekend....

Any thoughts?

Is that another one that sprays you with a tan?
I used to work with a girl who went to Hollywood tan for that new spray on tan and she loves it.
It looks like a real tan.

Yup - that's the one....the girls in my office look great - just like a real tan!

I think I might try it too! I just called a place that does it by me (in Virginia) and they charge $30. They said it lasts from 7 - 14 days (we'll see).

I think my friend said it was $25 and lasts about a week.

The place by my office charges 30$ too!! I am going to make an appointment for tomorrow, so I'll let you know....

Where do they do this? I would love to try it, I was going to try the ones you put on at home, but am afraid I would turn out all streaky.

I did try the lotions you put on yourself a few years ago. I must have not blended it in well enough and I had a dark streak running down one of my legs. I couldn't wear shorts for like a week.

Guess what? I just went....
the place by my office had an appt. so I ran over....
It's amazing how easy it is....
12 seconds on each side and boom, you're done!

you have to put this special lotion on your hands and feet so it doesn't get too dark there, but that was easy...

hmichick - the place i went to is on 57th & Lex

They say I won't see the full effects for 24 hours, so I will report back what it looks like tomorrow!

I would love to try this too I'm white like casper! Anyone know of places in Suffolk near Smithtown?

Trick I learned from bad experience with self tanner: For streaks or dark splotches to blend, use fresh lemon juice with salt (kosher is best) rub into skin and rinse well!

I have gotten this done a few times and I have to say.. Unless you keep up with it every week, when it fades it makes it look like something is very seriously wrong with your skin.
It doesnt fade like a tanning bed tan would, it fades in streaks and splotches..I was keeping up with it for awhile but when I wanted to stop going last month, I was mortified walking around for the week with my skin the way it was.
I called the place ( they knew me) and told them and they told me 'they hear it from everyone'
Just a heads up I guess

kaangel...theres a place in East Setauket that does it...Sun Castle. Not sure of their #, but it's listed.

Hmmmm...I dont like the sound of that whole after effect thing, otherwise, I was sold!

Jodi - that's scary....
I have a few girls at work who have done it for a special occasion a few times and then stopped and they didn't have that....

Was it Mystic Tan or Hollywood Tan? or something different?

That scares me....

But it looks really good so far!!!!!

please tell me how it works out for you!!!
I would much rather do this for my wedding than a tanning bed but I am scared it will rub off on my dress or something...

also, can you tell me the name of the place? I work on 57th & 9th so I can run over there one day.

I am so excited to hear how it turns out

I forget the name of the place but the number is 826.6464...
It's on the North East Corner of 57th and Lex on the 2nd flr...You can't miss it!
