My company laid off 300 people today and I was one of them. I'm so depressed b/c my wedding is in 5 months. The only good thing is that they are giving me 5 mths severence and paying my cobra until April 1st, plus a portion of my bonus. If ANYONE is a headhunter or knows of someone looking to hire let me know! I'll do anything at this point!

that *****. I agree though, finance is a great field to be in. I'm in consulting and always have recruiters calling - same usually goes for finance. what area are you interested in? NYC or LI?
