I LOVE a weekend full of checks!!

My FH and I were on LI yesterday and today to visit my fam and get lots of wedding stuff done. We dropped off our 2nd payment to bridgeview and (finally!!) booked our tasting. Then we went to Sapienza Bake Shop in elmont to order our cake. I showed them a pic of what I was thinking and we went over our options for the insides and we booked right away! We're going we alternations tiers of different combos: one is chocolate cake with chocolate mouse and cannoli cream and the other is red velvet with chocolate mouse and cannoli cream. We got a little taste and it's AMAZING! I can't wait for this gorgeous cake!

Today my mom was ordering my shower invites so FH and I went along to research invitations. We went to You're Invited To Celebrate in minneola. They had tons and tons of samples to browse. We ended up falling in love with one, we customized it a little and booked on the spot. Melissa was so helpful and we got a Great discount when using a reference from my moms friend. Our finished invite was beautiful and Super affordable too! I can't wait to share the proof when it comes in!

Congrats I had a full of checks weekend too. Is that the cake place Bridgeview gave you? I went to The Sweet Peace? Just curious why it's different

I've gone to sapienza's for years and years for all my cakes and delicious pastry needs. When my bro got married a few years ago, he used them and it was the most delectable wedding cake I've ever eaten. Normally when going to weddings I find most cakes unremarkable and just okay. I knew I needed to head back to our friends at sapienza's for my cake :)

You won't be disappointed with sweet peace. They are in lynbrook and my family uses them for all their specialty caked. The owner is so sweet and crazy talented. Plus the cakes taste amazing. I can't wait it meet with them to plan out my cake.
