I am such a guidette, what can I say I grew up in Queens-I have actually seen TKA in concert
I used to have these great freestyle mix tapes that me and my GFs would listen to as we drove up and down Crossbay Blvd, ah memories.

Ah me too!! Saw TKA several times & also cruised Franny Lew

i actually saw tka at our lady of hope in middle village!!! judy torres and someone else was there as well!!! i also saw cythia at silver screens lol god im old and jaya at emerald city lol i can go on and on

I spent my 13th birthday at the Bay Club in Sheepshead Bay, where TKA brought the house down with One Way Love.

Does anyone here remember Alisha?

Yes i remember her too....Anyone ever goto Polyesters on Hempstead Tpke in East Meadow? Its not there anymore, but we used to go there all the time. They always played awesome 80's music....Then there was the disco room at Malibu, they played such awesome music too....God I miss the music of the 80's.

I use to go to polyesters all the time but it was mostly seventys music when I went, But zacharys was the spot for freestyle LOL

OMG, I love Freestyle. My sister put me on to it. She is 4 years older and naturally, I did whatever she did so I started listening to her CD's. I love Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Stevie B, Tka, George Lamond (even his salsa CD) and I love the song Diamond Girl!!! but I can't remember who sang it

Is there a CD for just Freestyle? Like you can get a 'greatest hits of the 80's' or a 'love songs of the 90's' cd?

I hated it in the late 80's/early 90's when it was popular but now I like it. I'm slow
