I love nice post offices!

I decided to go in late to work just to get to the Wantagh Post Office when it opens.

I got pretty love stamps and placed them on all my 'Jersey' Thank You's and had them sent out!!! Whew! I am so glad that they are out of my hands. It was weighing on me. It was very tough to write them because I didn't know most of the guests and we didn't have a good list of 'who gave what' (long story).

Anyways, The post office lady was super sweet and congratulated me on getting married, advised me to make sure I come see HER to get my invitation weighed (and she wants to see them) and that SHE will hand stamp them for me or 'If I am a good girl' she will let me do it myself.

She had a stack next to her and she was 'looking forward' to hand stamping them as soon as a co-worker came to relieve her at the desk.

So, a big THANKSfor the US Government Worker who made my day!!!!

wow- what a rarity! that's awesome Lisa. most brides dread the PO experience...my mom does all of my stuff (she's a window clerk!) but there are A LOT of disgruntled people out there!

Geez, I forgot her name. But she works in the morning, brown hair, middle-aged. Super sweet.

My mom has always loved that post office... and goes there all the time. I think it may be something about them. They seem a bit more 'homey' - you know?

the girls working at Long beach office were super nice also

they hand canceled all my invited and didn't give me a hard time at all!

That's great!!! Nice people make life so much easier.
