I'm a little pissed

So there is this Dj that I really like and all of my friends like him too so I figured he would be perfect for my wedding, He is very popular and my friends and I go to many of the events that he has. I tracked him down and I have been calling him every week and he keeps giving me the run around. He finally says to me today that the reason that he hasn't gotten back to me is because he doesn't want to commit to anything so early.....What?....and if that wasn't bad enough he I heard him in the background to laughing when someone asked him when was my wedding. They were saying that I was calling like my wedding is next week. ...that **** pissed me off...........

wow thats very unprofessional......i booked my dj probably a month ago and they were very nice and didn't say one word to me about it being too early.....sorry you had to deal with that......just keep on looking at other dj companies.......you'll find the right one

I am so sorry that happened to you! First, its not too early at all! That would make me so mad to hear the comment in the background - I am really sorry!

That was extremely unprofessional! At least you know now what type of company they really are. Well, at least you don’t have to waste any more time on them with trying to get a response. Again, sorry that happened to you!

that is very unprofessional and actually really really rude...he is supposed to be running a business and it doesnt matter if the wedding if 7 years from now he shouldnt have givin you the answer he did...he should of said sumthing like i am so sorry we only book x amount of months in advance...i def would not go with this dj bc he seems like a jerk! and if he is giving you problems now who knows what kind of problems he is gunna give you in the future!

aww man so sorry to hear that. I went through the same things back in January when I had FH call a particular reggae band to play at out wedding. The response FH got from the band was we have plenty of time so come and check out their music in the meantime. OK, I had plenty of time but this was the only reggae band (cuz I already know how they play and sound) that I was considering at my wedding. Because of this, I opted for a DJ instead. Look into Raphael Gordon (.mmidjs.com). I booked with him last Saturday and he is great.

wow that would totally piss me off definatly book someone else it shouldnt matter when your wedding is . i feel if you are a potential client then they should have some respect for you and do buisness in a very professional manner. if he is acting like this now i can just imagine how his attitude will be if you were to call and ask a question. i guess he doesnt need the money that bad now does he?

What would get me concerned is why doesnt he want to commit so early??? I met with my DJ last month and not once did he say I was too early. Does he think something better will come up or is it he isnt sure that he will be around???

On a good note..at least you found out he isn't for your wedding before you booked him and not afterward.

I agree my DJ company said he books out 6 months to a year in advance depending on whether it is high season or not.
