I'm leaving LIW...forever!

It's just gotten too classless for me. All of this arguing back and forth..all of these conflicting opinions. I just can't HANDLE IT, it's giving me a headache. I say something perfectly innocent, and perfectly correct (because i am always crrect) and there someone is to TOTALLY conflict it! What the hell is up with that? And then there are these posts that are SO ridiculous and stupid, and LIW is holding a gun to my head, telling me I have to post and add to the drama. i can't take it anymore!

No wait......I'm not really going to leave. I just needed some attention!

If you really wanted to leave, you wouldn't announce it, you'd just do it. I know it cna get intense on here, but I like it that way. Avoid the threads about politics, if that helps!

Why wouldn't you annonce it? I would I would want it to be known that I was leaving and why. I know a great girl who left and she has been here for a long time cause of this stupid crap! Im glad she announced it I was able to say goodbye to her. You just admitted you like Drama. This post had nothing to do with politics? No Beef no Flames No Drama just making a point!

Here we go again...

Honestly, no one 'really' stays away from LIW forever. I can't tell you how many times I've left (short stays, etc.) LIW. Outside of the mass exodus in April (where honestly - how many of those who 'left' are truly missed? - life does go on and so did the boards), no one truly goes (even if you just lurk).

It's the trappings of LIW...

I totally agree with you...why not announce that you are leaving? People announce when they are joining.

Personally if I was going to leave I would FM the people who I was most close with. I dont feel the need to announce it to the 'whole' website.

Ok Im not going to get into this because it will start more pointless drama. I Think if I where going to leave I would announce it Espically to the group of people who made me leave by all the drama filled post. THIS IS MY OPINION. In my last post I said I didn't want drama flames or any crap like that so Its over. And that person did FM me to tell me she was leaving. Lets not make fun of people especially people who are no longer here. You should have done it when they where still here you know. Whatever Pointless drama Post Over.

First of all - hysterical thread!!
Thank you!

Second of all - I came seriously close to leaving once and i posted about it - to let people know why I was going, and that I would miss them all - as a final goodbye.
Honestly, it was the best thing I could have done, because people came out of nowhere to let me know how I had helped them out and what my being on the site meant to them. Not only did it boost my confidence....but it also helped me to realize that while there are people who like to cause trouble everywhere....you need good-intentioned people to counteract their evil!
