there are sooooooooooooooooo many different opinions on here that it is hard to try not to offend anyone. but come on, we are all adults (for the most part) and we need to deal with others opinions. and i agree that if i thought about leaving, i would just leave. no trumpets blaring as i make a self-righteous exit, just, poof and i'd be gone. but if i ever let a WEDDING website get me to that point, well then i would have bigger problems wouldn't i.

It's just gotten too classless for me. All of this arguing back and forth..all of these conflicting opinions. I just can't HANDLE IT, it's giving me a headache. I say something perfectly innocent, and perfectly correct (because i am always crrect) and there someone is to TOTALLY conflict it! What the hell is up with that? And then there are these posts that are SO ridiculous and stupid, and LIW is holding a gun to my head, telling me I have to post and add to the drama. i can't take it anymore!

No wait......I'm not really going to leave. I just needed some attention!

All I can say is that you really gave me a great laught tonight- and for that, I say thank you!

And I apologize in advance to everyone on these boards ... Not only am I NOT leaving, but until they kick me off or ban me, I plan to post on LIWs until I'm in the old ladies home , posting that 'what I had for lunch was prunes and oatmeal at 10:30 in the AM'

EXACTLY. i am sure if you really had every intention of leaving you would bow out gracefully and not throw a pity party. unlike so many others in the past that initiate these 'boo hoo, i'm leaving' threads w/ no intentions of leaving just as a means to boost their egos and make them feel like they are welcomed.

i agree. however, on a different level. the pity party threads have gotten a little old.

please do not think i am referring to this one. this is actually quite humorous. i am huge supporter of sarcasm.

Like I said, a good 50% of posts are either ..'please be happy for me' and here's why , or ' Please feel sad for me...Here's why'.

An ' I'm leaving' post is just as much a pity party as a vent.

EXACTLY! An 'I'am Leaving' Thread is the same as 'I am sick' or 'I hate my job' or 'Gee, Look what I did'. All of these threads are for attention. What does it matter what the thread is about?
