I'm Married!!!! Reviews....October 5, 2002

Well, here I am and my clock no longer says how many days until the wedding, but now says how many days we have been married. I have to post the reviews since LIWeddings was soooo helpful to me planning from San Diego for my wedding.

The day turned out so perfect and I did not have one complaint about any of the vendors, thanks to all the reccomendations and help I got from these boards and if anyone has any questions, etc.., I would love to help!

Rehearsal Dinner: Gosman's Restaurant in Montauk. The food and service were great although we were somewhat disappointed in that we were not in a separate room, but rather were in the restaurant with everyone else, but it turned out great anyway!

Ceremony: Most Holy Trinity Church East Hampton,NY
The church is beautiful and they were very easy to work with. I had Father Peter Libasci from Montauk and he was just unbelievable!

Reception: East Hampton Point East Hampton, NY
I cannot say enought god things about our experience there. Caroline, the event coordinator was so great and everything ran so smoothly, it was so easy to have a fun time! The food was incredible so of course I made sure to eat all my courses, although I wished I could have eaten more at the cocktail hour! We can't wait to have our top layer of cake, it was so good!! We wanted to go eat at East Hampton Point when we got back from our honeymoon, but it it open only for special events!

Band: Rhapsody
Also cannot say enough about this band. Everyone had a such a great time and kept commenting on how good they were! The dance floor was packed all night anf they sounded sooo good! They learned our parent dances and played them perfectly! Tony, the band leader, was super to work with and was very fleible with us dealing with him from San Diego and then on LI at limited times! I reccomend them to anyone that wants a great 7 piece band for a great price. You are getting a band that will have everyone up and dancing!

Limo: All Star Limo
We got two limos, a gray 6 passenger for Rob and me and then a white 14 passenger for the bridal party. We were being picked up in Montauk so they were not sure how long it would take tp get out there so they were about an hour and a hlaf early. The drivers were very helpful and took us to our picture locations, the beach and the Montauk Lighthouse, with no problems.. They also were on time for our airport pickup for our honeymoon and were there waiting when we returned home from the honeymoon.

Flowers: Flowers by Beth Amagansett, NY
Beth was amazing and everything turned out EXACTLY as I wanted it. She is so creative and the flowers were just beautiful. The flowers complimented the girls dresses so perfectly and I loved my bouquet! The centerpieces were also just as I had wanted!

John was a pleasure to work with. We did alot of shots at my house bfore the wedding and then some shots at the church of the bridal party. The day turned out to be beautiful so we were able to go to the beach for some shots and the Montauk Lighthouse. He was very flexible and easy to work with. He got the family pic's done first thing at the cocktail hour so they were done with. Then we did not really notice him during the reception. We do know he was taking some great pics without being in your face b/c we just got out proofs back Friday! They are beautiful and can't wait to pick out our album shots. His assistant was Tom and he ws also very nice, he took shots as well, but was the secondary photog. I think.

Have not seen it yet obviously, but he was there and not in the way at all. I can't wait to watch it and see anything that we missed!

Online Vendors:
www.gownsales.com I bought all the bridesmaid dresses from them and they were great. So much less than the stores and got here about a month and a half sooner than they said. I ordered Bari Jay Style 846 and loved them!

www.tradewindtiaras.com I bought the Vassar Comb and she modified it a bit and it came out just as I wanted. I wanted something small and not too much beadwork. I loved it!

www.veilshop.com Another awesome online vendor. I ordered my veil from them and it came with no wrinkles and matched my dress. I had a friend order hers from there, too and was very happy. You save so much and the veils are nice!

Honeymoon: Aruba at the Radisson
We had the best time there and can't wait to return! We actually debated extending our stay there we were having so much fun! The weather is beautiful and we met some very nice couples also on their honeymoons. We ate at some super restaurants so if you need any suggestions on where to go or not go, feel fress to e mail me.

I am so jealous of everyone that still has their day coming up. Enjoy every minute of it. We did and wish we could do it again, to relive it all! Good luck to everyone planning and if anyone has any questions, e mail me b/c I found out so much info. from the girls here and they helped so much!
