I may be drenched, but I have shoes!!!

I found these shoes online and fell in love. Then I found out that every online retailer was sold out of my size. I called the manufacturer and found out that it's a very popular shoe and that my size wouldn't be available again until late August (too late for my first fitting). So, I called every possible store in the city of Manhattan that might carry the shoe, and found one guy that had one pair left in my size, that he would only hold until 5pm today. So out in the rain I went for the shoe. The wind promptly took my umbrella, and I was a drowned rat by the time I reached the store. Thank GOD the guy really did have them, really did hold them, and that they FIT!

Another thing off the list.

(The pic makes them look gold, but they're silver)

Actually, they are remarkably comfortable. Of course I haven't stood in them for 12 hours straight yet, so I might be eating my words on October 7th!! But trying them on and walking around the store, they felt really secure and comfortable.

Worth a try on (if you can find your size!! )

I know it's not my board but I had to tell you that those shoes are so beautiful. I'd been unable to find them in my size so I gave up the search - you're very lucky!

Randi... totally on a mission with these. Next is my hair clips. Apparently I've chosen clips that don't exist in bridal salons and take 10 weeks to order. Um, no. Mark my words.. I'll get 'em!!

Yes it does seem that way... it's been a running theme throughout my life! I don't TRY to have obstacles. I just seem to have this knack for choosing things that are tough to obtain.
