WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never expected so many responses !!!! You are all the BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to get off b/c I was crying (at work) and had to settle down. Luckily I didnt have to do any explaining b/c noone saw me
I feel sooooo much better reading your sincere replies and FMs (which I will respond to each personally)
I will take some counseling into serious consideration, b/c I have never tried it, and I think it may really help. Thank You all for suggesting it. I may also talk to FH about what I'm feeling, but only if I get worse.
About my family, I try not to b/c 1. Oldest sister is STILL in denial and won't talk, she just gets mad and closes up. 2. Middle sister is even more emotional than me, and bringing it up tears her apart, and we just both end up a basket case. 3. Dad and I, well that's another can of worms.
Maybe if anyone, I'll talk to my brother, he's good for a hug
in any case, I feel a whole lot better already b/c of you. I can't thank you all enough !!!!! I will bookmark this thread so I can read it whenever I'm feeling down I know my Mom is always with me, guiding me, sometimes I forget though. But really, I know she is my wonderful Angel

I am so sorry. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for you. It must be especially hard during the holidays. Just know that your mom is always with you. Everyone handles things differently. You can always talk to someone. Sometimes that makes it a little easier.

Re: I miss my Mom :( (kinda sad)
Awww, Liz. I know exactly how you feel (because of my Dad)...honestly, I'm a big advocate of counseling. I think I would have gone completely mad after losing my father. I didn't go at first, and started having break downs - I actually became a very nasty person to be around. When I went to counseling, it was just a way of me releasing everything, without worrying anyone......no matter what people will be there for you, so if you feel more comfortable releasing to someone that you know personally, then go for it. But you really need to let it out, and at least let your FH know how you are feeling, because he will eventually figure out something is bothering you.....
I hope you feel better SOON......you deserve only positive things in your life!!!!!

Re: I miss my Mom :( (kinda sad)
Liz, I have never lost anybody so close. But I sympathize with you. Its a very special time in your life and the emotions that you are experiencing are normal. WE are here for you if you want to talk.
I can totally relate to the panic and anxiety. I sought counseling and it worked, maybe you should talk to someone. It would help. You dont have to go it alone. surround yourself with your loved ones and things will get better I promise. I know you have heard this, but time does heal all wounds. You will never forget your mom, but each day will become easier.
Just a little something, hope it helps
She whom we love and lose is no longer where she was before. She is now wherever we are.

That short poem is really beautiful and may be of some comfort to you.
Hugs~~~~~~~ are being sent to you. I think the truth of the matter is that it totally $ucks that your Mom is not here with you during this special time. And I miss my grandmothers on just 'regular' days all the time. But I do believe that they are looking down on us and smiling. I do believe that they saw me get married from heaven. I know your Mom will see you too.

Re: I miss my Mom :( (kinda sad)
Liz
I feel for you so much. A few years ago I had major panic attacks after losing my baby. All I will say is that the professionals told me that one day they would go forever. I didnt believe them but it was true. Gradually I learned to be less afraid of them and once that happened they became less frequent until one day I realised they had stopped.
That was about 10 years ago and they haven't returned despite a number of stressful times including my divorce.
One thing I would say is that if you are recommended to take medication on a short term basis you may want to reconsider. I was diagnosed anti depressants which I made sure were non addictive. I only took them for two months then stopped, but it did help me over the most difficult time and allowed me to get back to work within 2 weeks. If your doctor thinks its advisable it may help. Also think about more counselling.
I hope you have much joy in your wedding as I know your mum would have wanted for you.
My own wedding is in 23 days. I have found such joy again in my life and I know you will too in your wedding and your new life together

Liz, we are all here for you. But I agree with the other girls. Try not to keep your feeling all bottled up it will only hurt you in the end. Talk to anyone, friend, family and professional but most of all let your FH know what is going on with you. He will most likely help you the best way that he can and that may be all you need.
