home remedies for my freakin cold that i cant get rid of...i have been taking shots of echinasea , tylinol cold /sinus , advil cold sinus, air born, drinking lots of tea and water, eating clementines (vitamin c) ....nothing works...i have this head cold that wont leave....ne help would be appreciated...if it doesnt go away by mon then im going to the dr (today is week 1 of having it)

Awww I wish I had something to tell you. It sounds like you are doing everything I would do. At this point it sounds like the Dr. needs to give you antibiotics.

yea thats what im thinking....i actually changed my mind..im calling the dr this morning as soon as they open for an appt to get meds...im not going another weekend feeling like crap...

If your nose is stuffy and you feel like you have some sinus pressure, you should get some over the counter Mucinex DM. It used to be available as prescription only . It works like a charm for a stuffy nose and sinus pressure. But you have to drink a LOT of water while you are taking the medicine to help the mucus flow (sorry if that was too graphic!!).
If you lose your voice, the best thing for that is warm milk, honey and......butter. It isn't that bad once you get past the butter, but it really works! My mom used to make it for me whenever I got laryngitis.

im off to target to get mucinex...thanks sooo much...yea my voice keeps going in and out ...as u can tell i hate being sick

i just called my dr..they can take me at 1015 and promised me that ill be in and out within 30 mins..THANK GOD!!!
