I need a formal gown!

So my FH just told me the attire for his holiday party at the Marriott Marquis is black tie formal.

I had tons of gowns from sorority formals in college but I gave them away to a prom dress charity.

Is anyone willing to let me borrow, give or buy a BM dress either you used for a wedding or one your BM's used?

I am a street size 4/6. I just need the a dress for a night so I really don't want to go out and spend $150 on a dress. Or let me know if you know of places to get cheap dresses.

Have you tried Estelle's in Farmingdale? They have some nice dresses that are reasonably priced!
Also, there is a dress warehouse place on Long Beach Road in Oceanside. Not sure what the name is but I bought a dress to wear to a wedding there a couple of months ago and it was only $65!!

I was going to recomend Estelle's also. I went there a few times. They have good prices.

I have tons of dresses, but most of them are size 6 or 8 or 10. You'd swim in them, but you're welcome to FM me for info.

OOOH. Cache in the Smith Haven Mall has nice formal dresses.

You can get really good deals on dresses in Macy's too. Also, I know this sounds nuts, but i have gotten really pretty dresses in Marshall's and Charlotte Russe...I had gotten one for a law school formal there and it was like $30.
