I went and saw Silverfox photographers today and they were very good. I just need to look at more and compare prices. Please let me know who used and how much around?

We used Chuck Marcy. We paid $2700 for: 50 8x10 Bridal Album 2 5x7 Parent Albums (24) 1 16x20 Portrait 2 8x10 Portraits 100 Thank You Cards 6 5x7 Bridal Party All Proofs & CD Rom
We also got an e-shot with a free 8x10.

also try angelica glass (www.angelicaglass.com) she's an amazing photojournalist and only charges around 1350 to shoot your entire wedding. i believe that also includes an engagement photo shoot. she will give you all of your negatives or images on a high res CD, that way you can make your own albums and save tons of money!! tell her leena sent ya!

Check out TimEXposures Our package was $3400 with video. I know his packages start below $1500. He did a fantastic job with my wedding.

Check out Duet.
We are getting photo and video for a very reasonable price. A lot less than what most photographers charge just for photo.
engagement shoot (2 hours) 2 photographers day of/ 10 hours of coverage at least 700 proofs 1 library album with 80 images 1 11 X17 3 8 X 10 3 5 X7 all proofs all negatives 3 DVD videos coverage of both FH and me getting ready

Spelman Studios Spelman was great. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Christine Spelman photgraphed our wedding, you can see some of our pictures in my review on the Brides Review board.
We haven't booked yet but we checked out Velvet Studio and Patken and they were both excellent. We are meeting with a couple more before we make a decision.

As soon as we met her I felt so excited about my wedding pictures...her work is gorgeous and she is wonderful too!

We're using Perceptions Photography and Anthony Vazquez, the owner, is going to be our photographer. They have all different price ranges and you can really customize the packages, but it's not exactly a la carte like Silverfox. We're paying about $6K for everything, including a 2nd 'traditional' photog, our album, 3 parent albums, 75 watercolor thank you cards, etc. Definitely check them out. I also met with Silverfox and thought Perceptions' work was a little better. Hope this helps!

My proofs from Artisan Photography Group are absolutely amazing. After looking at 7 photographers, Chuck had everything we wanted and was very flexible. He, and his Black and White photographer, Dennis, were great to work with the day of the wedding!

Check out Wedding One Group for Photo.
I met with about 10 photographers including some of the popular LIW photographers like Duet, Silver Fox, Patken, Twelfth Night, etc.
With Wedding One, depending on your package you can get your albums, 2 parent albums, and video for under $3500. They are very similar to Duet in style.
I just took their photo package and took a higher end package. They are flexible and will negotiate.

Jim and Rose from Classical Look Photography were great, very sweet and attentive. My album and proofs were amazing too, the color quality was the best I've ever seen. I had my proof in two weeks and all of them placed in 2 albums. Jim also worked with our budget. My wedding album was just beautiful.
My package was about $2545, because I cut out the parent albums and I got a discount because I booked them after seeing them at the Marriot in Uniondale. Ending Price $3000 because I added in then end.
Original Pkg. includes: I included my extra's for the price I listed above) 40 print Album (I got 60) mixed with 8x10's and 10x10's Engagement shoot and Portait 16x20 framed 2 parent albums each with 16 5x7's 2 8x10's ( I got 3) and 4 5x7's (I got 10) 2 11x14 portraits or 1 16x20 portrait 75 Thank yous (I got 100) All proofs and Negatives. + 6 special effects (B&W, splash of color, 5 pose page, or 2-3-4 multi page) Plus I got the Panorama page in the middle of the album in sephia color plus I ordered an additional 16x20 frame.
All prints can be devolped in color, black & white and sephia.
