OK - this is the last detail I need to resolve. We are not getting married at a church, but we have the unity candle thing - I would like the mom's to light it at the beginning of the ceremony, but I don't want them lighting matches ---- please advise

you usually have 2 tapers next to the Unity candle that are lite then you light the unity candle from them. The candles can be lite before your ceremony.

IM sorry...I misunderstood your first post...I thought you wanted the mom's to light the Unity candle.
