I need advice!

So there are basically two spots where a DJ can set up at my venue. I'd really love to have my dj in one of the suggested spots, and I told him this, and he told me that in all of his 25 years, he has never set up in that spot. He said he would 'strongly advise against it, and that it's a recipe for disaster.' I don't see how that's possible, because it's only about 10 feet to the left of the other spot. What should I say back to him? I feel like I'm paying good money and that it shouldn't be a problem. My BM said that plenty of djs set up there, and I even saw it like this at the bridal showcase last week with the dj they had there. Any advice?

I need advice! - Long Island Weddings

I would simply express what you want to him nicely and possibly attach pictures (see if the hall has them of a dj in that spot) send it to him and then ask his opinion
