I need help...

I'm thinking of my 12 year old cousins, being flowergirl and ring bearer. I'm having a no kids policy, so this would be great. Parents wouldn't have to worry that their kids are going swimming or something.

Do you think that their age is a big deal?
Is it necessary to 3-4 year olds as fg rb?

I think you can have whatever you want. Our ring bearer will be 12 and he looks about 17, so go figure

instead of labeling then fg and rb....why dont you say junior bm and junior usher?

i agree about the jr bridesmaid and jr usher. my god son was 10 and was too embarrassed to be the second ring bearer with dh 4 year nephew so i made him a jr usher and he felt more important and like a big guy lol

I would agree that you could do Jr. Usher and Jr. Bridesmaid. FH has two cousin's one who is 4 and one who is 9. The 4 yr old is our flowergirl and we thought that the 9 year old was going to be too old to be a flowergirl so we asked her to be a Jr. Bridesmaid.

At that age, they would appreciate 'jr' in front of their title for BM or GM. Makes them feel more special and grown up!

I think you can have whatever you want!!! My ringbearers are 10 and 8 BUT the 8 year old, my brother is TALL - I mean over 4 feet but I dont care what people say.

If you want them in your wedding, who cares what people will think.

My brother is walking down the aisle with his 9 year-old daughter (my JBM), because we have a female shortage.

Some people tell me it'll look strange to pair an adult male with a little girl, but it is her FATHER. Get over it. People are strange. Ignore what anyone else thinks.

If you want them as you flower girl and ring bearer that is fine. I don't think there is an age limit.

I'm having my 7yr old niece as my flower girl and my 2 yr old nephew as the ring bearer.

Since we also want have fh cousins in it we are going to have his 10yr old as a jr bridesmaid and his 12 cousin as a jr usher.

I THINK THAT THE FG AND THE RG SHOULD BE WHOEVER YOU WANT. I DONT THINK THAT 12 IS PUSHING IT.
