I need help finding a bridal salon!

Can anyone let me know of a reasonable bridal salon with gowns around $1,000? I love lace gowns so if anyone knows of a salon with dresses in that price range please let me know!

Honestly, you MAY need to up your budget a little bit if you want lace... for a nice lace gown, you should maybe try to stay in the 1500-2k range.. lilette's in bellmore had good prices and had alot of maggie sottero lace gowns- also, I saw a bunch of lace gowns at burton's bridals when I went for bridesmaid dresses.. I know burton's has fantastic prices so maybe you can find something at either of those two stores

my dress is from Pronovias in the city and they are known for their lace because it is a spanish lace designer... I know the wedding plaza in floral park is an authorized retailer of pronovias if you wanted to check them out. I know they are a store that discounts their gowns, but I'm just not sure how much they discount them. I know my mom went to the wedding plaza and found a MOB dress, and they gave her a HUGE discount because she bought her dress off the floor instead of ordering a brand new one. So if you found a pronovias dress there and it was in good condition, you could probably talk them down a bit in price :)

Maggie sottero Emma is a lace gown I just ordered with out cap.sleeves it's $1190. She has some other gown right around $1000. Wonderful thing I found it about Maggie sottero, she makes any salon that carries her line charge the same price!! So u don't have to worry about shopping around! I loved bridal suite of centereach! If u need under $1000 def David's bridal. Honestly other then Maggie sottero or David's bridal idk if u will find a lace dress under $1000.
Other designers I tried on were probably around $1300 starting.
Hope this was helpful!!

Other then Something like Davids Bridal I found most Salons had very similar prices. Even at RK Bridal my dress was only $100 cheaper than at Village Bridal where I got it.

Have you checked out bhldn? They have gorgeous lace gowns that are reasonably priced. They have their dresses on the website and just opened a store in NYC which I should probably get myself to considering I have less than 6 months

Try Angel Bridal in E. Islip. I just got my dress from there. It's lace and around that price! They are so sweet there.

I think most places will have a dress within any brides budget. Just make sure you mention the budget to them. Just keep in mind with a budget of $1000, they will bring you dresses up to $1200.

David's bridal is a good place to look, just be ware I've heard a lot of ladies complain about the alterations aspect of it (they don't cap it). And I second xBudgetBridex about Maggie Sottero. Check out the website, and start looking at dresses. Their dresses are extremely affordable.

Maggie Sottero is a him btw, not a her!

Haha, yup I believe it's a guy. I was doing the same thing, until my friend corrected me too. I'm a Maggie bride too :)

Oh yay!!! Love love Maggie!! My friend told me about 'him' lol and I thought if she bought a Maggie dress that means I can't afford it. So reasonable! My dress looks very similar to a demetrios dress, and mine was $600 cheaper!!! I got Emma, what did you get?

Find a dress first then call Carole at burtons to see how much they can get it for you! Their prices are awesome!

I have heard bad things about them personally.....a recent 2014 bride's bm dresses only came in 1week.before the wedding and she ordered them 8 months or so before her wedding

Burton's is great! Trust me from personal experience... Idk what happened with the other bride, but she probably didn't order at the right time.. my girls all have their dresses and we still have 2 months to go. All of their dresses are beautiful and Carole called me every step of the way to let me know when they were shipping, when she received them, etc.

I totally agree with Mrs on here- find a dress you LOVE, then call Carole at Burton's and see what price she can give you. I guarantee her price will beat out whatever salon you find 'the dress' at

Helen's in Commack has great prices and a big Maggie Sottero selection. I got mine (MS Jayla) from there during a trunk sale so it was very affordable. Like mentioned above, just make sure you tell them your budget when you make the appt so they can pull dresses only in that range for you. Good Luck and have fun!

NY Bridal Outlet in Farmingdale! They are the sister store to Village Bridal in Babylon and they are awesome! They've been super helpful and the dresses were very reasonably priced!
