Hello fellow brides! I just started the process of finding a reception hall and needless to say, I'm extremely overwhelmed.
So far, I've seen Majestic Gardens, Windows on the Lake, Lombardi's on the Sound, and Thatched Cottage. Majestic Gardens and Windows on the Lake weren't for me. Lombardi's was nice but I think the price is to high for what we're getting. And the Thatched Cottage might be a contender.
I'm looking for a place in Suffolk County. I expect to have approximately 100-120 guests. My date is flexible but I would prefer to have it in May 2012. Evening wedding is a must but I'm flexible on the day. I would prefer to have it at a place that only accomodates one wedding at a time. I'm extremely budget conscious and need to keep this under $100 per person, including all taxes and fees.
I know this is a tall order but any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Try Hamlet Willow Creek CC in Mount Sinai. Website doesn't do it justice. Go see it in person.

Have you looked into Timber Point CC in Great River?
Great pricing & one wedding at a time.
Exactly what I was looking for also.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! I looked up Old Field Club and fell it love with it. However, I'm afraid to go see it because it might be out of our price range. Anyone know what the price range is for Lombardi's on the Bay? Looking for a Friday night in May.

wish I had checked out old field club, that place looks STUNNING!
Try Hamlet Country Club in Commack. It's one wedding and Im sure you can get it under $100pp. They quoted us $105pp for Oct wedding, chair covers included (they are usually $5per chair)

Re: I need help finding a Reception Hall
Sans Souci of Sea Cliff Stewart Manor Country Club Smithtown Landing
If you can deal with more than one wedding at a time the following should fit with budget: Fox Hollow Westbury Manor Leonard's of Great Neck
