i'd like to buy a digital camera, but don't have the first clue what to look for. also, does anyone know where i can get one for a reasonable price?

We have a Canon...check out opinion sites - like epinions.com for reviews. I can't remember for the life of me where we got it - it was about 3 years ago.

DH got me the the Canon A70 for xmas and I love it. Its definately a lot of camera for the money. It can be used manually or automatic it even takes a 3 minute video. Very easy to use. I had it set up in a few minutes and was clicking away.

I got my canon digital from best buy, they beat any other price and I LOVE my camera, mine is a year old now, but Im sure they have newer ones, I love best buy!!! You can even view cameras on their web site!

I have an Olympus, its a 3 megapixel and it takes great pics. They would probably be even better if I actually read the instructions and used them instead of using it as a point and click

Hi- I just got a Canon SE50??? I think, it has 5 megpixels and it was around 400.
The pictures are AWESOME!
ETA: It only came with a memopre card that holds 13 pics... so we bought another memory card that holds 140 and I think that was around $45.
