I'm doing a cooking theme wishing well for my sister's shower. What do I use as the actual 'well'????
I don't have a lot of moolah to work with. Any ideas???
BTW it's a Mexican Fiesta theme shower

use a white garbage pail.....then decorate it..
(my dad and mom made mine-and we got to keep the new garbage pail)
I can't think of anything that you would use in a kitchen that could hold all of those gifts.....

yes this is perfect! And you can use a white garbage bag on the outside of it and kinda decorate it... crease the garbage bag and make pleats and it will look awesome!

You can get a really big pot, like a lobster pot. Or a regular basket and decorate it w/ a mexican theme.

Hey there..you can use some large pots and pans or just lay out cutting boards or fake ones made of cardboard or something..if this sounds silly, it's because I'm just picturing cooking stuff in my head...even large baskets would work! Good luck!

I like the big lobster pot idea! Although I don't know what my sister would do with a lobster pot since she despises seafood and will NEVER cook a lobster!!

maybe do multiple 'wells' of a bunch of pots and bowls or something?
if not i'm sure the garbage pail will work and you can always decorate it to look like a kitchen item (a big kitchenaid mixer maybe?)
