I need help with my dress!!! UPDATED- I went for a re-fitting tonight

I am making myself crazy with this. I feel like maybe it is too much poof. I am going to attach a pic of the model wearing it and then myself. Please be honest and let me know what you think. I made an appt. for tonight for a refitting. I want to try it on without the slip so I can compare. Maybe they will have a smaller slip for me to try on also. I don't want a ball gown or princess look... something in between.

I am making myself nuts over this. I am not sure if I should just cancel the appt. for the re fitting.

Help me please!!!

Notice how the models dress just flows- it's not full like mine. That's how I want my dress to look.

UPDATE: I am so GLAD that I went back to the salon. My instincts were right. I tried it on without the slip and it looked amazing. It fit ME the way I imagined it would. The seamstress even told me that it looks nicer without the slip. It's not the kind of dress that should be poofed. I took a couple of pictures but need to upload them. I promise to post as soon as I do.

I just want to say how important it is to go with what you want and not what the sales people tell you or anyone else. I went with what was told to me by this woman helping me. I figured she knows the business.. but really it doesn't matter. What matters is if YOU are happy. I am now VERY happy.

I agree its a little too poofy.. I think it lays nicer with less poof. But thats my personal opinion.

I agree. I don't think that dress needs the extra poof. It's beautiful.

Thank you guys so much!! The woman at the salon- a 60 something year old was telling me that I need the slip to make it full. Tonight I will ignore what anyone says and just go with what I like.

I def. will. I actually had pictures from the very first time I tried this dress on. It looked so different. You actually saw MY body frame. Of course those pictures are on my home computer. I need to get them all on one CD. lol

I don;t think you are crazy-- I really like the dress on you.. and I like the poof, but I agree that I like the cleaner line of how the dress flows on the model..

Taking crynolyn (sp?) out or adding to dresses is so common-- when I was tryiong on dresses this was always suggested to me and I saw them doing it with other girls..

Stick to your guns and make sure you love it!!

first off, your dress is soo pretty! i think a tad less poof would be nice though..

I think the models dress is pulling in the other direction than yours is... . maybe that is why you think you look different. (her dress opens to the left, and yours opens to the right)
