I need help with RH

Hi ladies... I'm new and I'm dying for your help.
I really like the swan club and looking for an October date. The sun sets around 6 in October. Do you think it's too dark and chilly to have cocktail hour outside? Should I move it to September? Has anyone been there in October? Thanks!:

You can still have you Cocktail Hour outside, I am hoping the weather is still nice enough in the beginning of November to have our Cocktail Hour outside.

I know I can't believe it either. Everything worked out pretty well. I really wanted a fall wedding but there was alot of pros and cons.

I wanted to have it outdoors during the fall when the foliage is at its peak. Unfortunately, the weather lately has been much more unpredictable. There's no guarantee that there's going to any foliage during october. Last year everything was still green mid october. For us, proximity was also important. The swan club had both these. Besides the staff is really friendly and I hear the food is fantastic.

I wish I can afford some of the other higher end places but I'd rather be in the black when all this is done than have some extravagant wedding that I have to pay for years after.

Any other swannies out there? I can use some tips on how to jazz up the Contessa room!

Congrats on booking The Swan Club. Im not booked there but, there are a few girls that are and I have been to 3 weddings there in all 3 different rooms and it is wonderful no matter what room you have.

Great! Congratulations!!! I really didn't think I was going to get married in August. But now that its done, I'm glad....I just hope to God its like this year, nice and cool!!!

congrats! im booked in the camelot room for 8/2!
i actually really like the contessa the way it is.. and i love the chairs! much better than the camelot's IMO

Oooh I love the camelot room. I even thought about doubling my guest list just to get that room. I know its crazy. I think the ambiance of that room is much better. I think the Contessa has a cozy feel. Congrats!!!
