i need major favor help

i need major favor help

i still haven't decided on my favors...

all along i have been thinking of doing something edible bc I know personally i throw out favors that I get at weddings...

i was leaning towards a cookie from the Sugar Chic that would look identical to my wedding cake. This is still an option.

I have also looked into cupcakes and what not but then stuff starts getting expensive.


I need ideas for something that I could give that is either edible or something non-edible but something useful that people won't just toss!

HELP please!!

i dont know if you saw the cookbooks that im doing but if you want more info, let me know. not sure how much you are looking to spend. i didnt want to spend a lot on favors because i also throw them all out.

i was originally going to do small wine bottles per person for about 2.5 each but i ended up spending around 5.5 on each cookbook which would be per couple.

im just as lost as you are... we orderede a sample cookie from suger chic and FH thought they tasted not so good.... just our opinion...

Just an idea.... we aren't doing 'favors' I mean I will have fans on the chairs bc we are getting married outside in June, I thought it would be cute. I am also using the favor tins as my place cards, more then likely filled with M&M's, and a silk daisy on top. I am having a flip flop basket for the woman to kick of their shoes and we are also having a photobooth so people will also get pictures....
Our actual favor will be donations to 2 place:
His choice a room to read and mine make a wish.
Just depends on what suits you both, we wanted to do the donations bc most people don't use or even take their favors. Just a thought.

I was thinking of getting little bags and filling it with M&M's in our colors (not the personalized, bc those are like double the price).... and then taking the other half of the favor budget and doing a small donation. And then putting on the Tag of the M&M's please except this as a token of our thankfulness as we have donated to such & such.

But for some reason i am in love with this photocoaster, caddy set.
And wanted to put like a picture of FH & I in one side and then Thank you for sharing our special day in the other side.

I'm doing kind of the same thing - we're doing a donation then having a little mini bag of treats for them to take away when they're leaving - I THINK we're putting little brownie bites in them (like 1-2/bag)!! Also doing a slipper basket and pashima basket just in case it's cold and people want to go outside on the deck!

i know they sell bottles or packets etc and you personalize the labels...

I have found them all over ranging from 3.95 - 8.95 each obviously, the 3.95 wins if we go for it. It also comes in a white box. I am in love with them, FH is impartial:-/

I actually ended up going with the sugar chic after all that back and fourth I was doing. I felt the same way about favors - they always just get thrown out. I figured edible was the way to go and anything else I looked at was too expensive.

Here are some edible options: M&M's, truffles, cupcakes, cookies, wine, and caramel/chocolate apples (decorated with candy or something so it doesn't come across as too 'autumn-y')

pashmina basket? never heard of that before! where are you getting them? do you have a picture?
