i need major favor help

i still haven't decided on my favors...

all along i have been thinking of doing something edible bc I know personally i throw out favors that I get at weddings...

i was leaning towards a cookie from the Sugar Chic that would look identical to my wedding cake. This is still an option.

I have also looked into cupcakes and what not but then stuff starts getting expensive.


I need ideas for something that I could give that is either edible or something non-edible but something useful that people won't just toss!

I'm doing kind of the same thing - we're doing a donation then having a little mini bag of treats for them to take away when they're leaving - I THINK we're putting little brownie bites in them (like 1-2/bag)!! Also doing a slipper basket and pashima basket just in case it's cold and people want to go outside on the deck!


im doing a pashmina basket too. how many are you ordering? i am having a hard time finding a decent price.....

We are doing chocolate, ,one dark, one milk in shape of hearts from Li-lac in the city not that expensive, they will also wrap them in any color you want! Their chocolate is so yummy, my grandmother used live down the block from them when she was a little girl and always used them that's why I using them she past and would love me using them for my favors!

pashmina scarfs..wrapped up...mostly for the women..in case they get chilly

Don't talk to me about favors. I've gone completely crazy over finding the perfect favor, and everytime I find one, it gets discontinued

discontinued doesnt mean bad orr that they dont have it...just means there will be no more

the picture frame i ordered was in clearance. last year it was $9...this year, since they only had a small amount left (which was still larger than the amount i needed!!) i got it for less than 50% off!!

you just need to call ASAP when you see discontinued and see how many are left

Pashmina basket = just so the women can have a wrap in case they want to go outside & it's chilly (our venue has a large outside porch area).

I think I'll prob get between 50-75 pashminas (i ALWAYS spell it wrong). I think I'll just get a large basket, jazz it up with some ribbon and stuff, and fold them up - I am planning on going to Chinatown and haggling like I've never haggled before!! I'm hoping to get them for like $1-2 (obvi not doing the really nice ones)!!!

For 2 pieces $3.25 and they wrap and will send it to your house

I have been having the same debate... I was thinking of getting little bags and filling it with M&M's in our colors (not the personalized, bc those are like double the price).... and then taking the other half of the favor budget and doing a small donation. And then putting on the Tag of the M&M's please except this as a token of our thankfulness as we have donated to such & such.

But for some reason i am in love with this photocoaster, caddy set.
And wanted to put like a picture of FH & I in one side and then Thank you for sharing our special day in the other side.

love it!

not edible but how about a donation to a cause....?

My fiance and I are going to donate money to the World Wildlife Fund and adopt 11 different animals (one for each table) ... then the table names will be that animal. On the table will be a picture and adoption certificate, and on each person's plate will be a scroll of sorts that says something like 'Thank you for sharing this day with us. A donation has been made in your name to the WWF to adopt a Toucan'

I'm doing wine. My sister works at Martha Clara's on the weekends so she gets a discount. I can get the bottles I want for half off.... so $9 per couple.

I know, but the place that I found them at the best price didn't have them in stock either.

Nope no luck. I found something else, and that was discontinued. Then another LIW girl found me something else, but the vendor is really terrible at responding to emails.................
