I need my girls......
Today I had my regular ob/gyn visit, and when my doctor measured my belly, she said it was 3 inches off of what my tummy is supposed to measure at this stage in my pregnancy( 30 weeks). She said it could be because Blake is laying sideways, stretched across my stomach, but tomm we'll make sure everything is ok when I go for my growth sono for the baby. I'm a nervouse wreck. I don't complain here, I swear I don't and Darren is at work, and I don't want to worry him. I wish I had a few numbers so I could give a call to my closest girls on here. I'm sitting tight, and hoping everything will be ok.

OMG Melanie! What does laying sideway indicate? I was a Mommy before but not sure what that means. Please call me so we can chat if you need me. Being pregnant is not as easy as it seems.

That could be true if he's sideways. I remember getting different measurements depending on the way my Son was laying. I'm sure everything will be fine

Mel....one of the girls in the office had the same problem. But they told her it was absolutely because he was sideways and stretched out. Also..she is smaller..I realize you are tall Mel...but you have a very slender body..this plays a lot into it too. Just because it does not fit into the 'chart' of whats 'normal'....doesn't mean anything. YOu have been soo good...that baby is beyond healthy..he's just wants to give you some agita....Its gonna be okay Mel
Don't let it get to you...but we can already tell who's gonna be the trouble maker in the family, right?
I love you Mel..you are beautiful. You have a healthy baby growing inside of you. He just happens to be monkeying around and not pushing your stomach far..I mean look how active he is..he thinks you are a punching bag!! Its gonna be Okay Mel..I'm here for you...and I'll say a prayer too...just in case

dont worry there is a girl in my office and her belly is not as big as it's 'supposed' to be either but her baby Madison is very healthy and right on track for the growth scale.Don't get your self worked up about it until you see the doctor tomorrow, I'm sure all is fine and Blake is doing well.

I hope and pray this is just a glitch in the measuring and you'll find out he's just fine! Please don't worry yourself, I know that's easier said than done but it's not good for you or Blake. Think positive thoughts.

Mel, I had stepped out when u osted about ur doc visit. Im sorry hun, but i just know you will be ok. Blake is just being a lazy boy and streching. Tomorrow you will go to the doc and everything will be fine. Think positive.my thought will be with you.

Everything will be okay. Try to stay calm, you don't want to stress out right now. I have heard of many women this happens to. You have a healthy baby and he is going to be just fine. Keep us posted.
