Re: I need pretty cool looking cardstock...
I would recommend going to downtown manhattan to Paper Access or Kate's!There's tons of paper stores by Union Square.
Good luck! Hope you find something!

Re: I need pretty cool looking cardstock...
Marcella--card stock is 36 lb and up. If you are doing the printing yourself, keep in mind the printer and the stock. The paper can cause the printer to jam or it won't bend as easily when you run it through. I had a bad experiencee with photo paper yesterday. It wasn't pretty!
Have you thought about ordering the paper on-line? There are a lot of sites where you can get it a lot cheaper than retail stores.

Re: I need pretty cool looking cardstock...
On no.. well I plan on printing everything on ivory parchment paper.. so the card stock or *heavy* paper will be more like the background...

Re: I need pretty cool looking cardstock...
If that is the case than you should use 80 lb. It is really thick and strong. I went to paper access a couple of weeks ago and that was the strongest paper they had. I think they even had a 100# maybe, could be wrong. But that was stiff!

Re: I need pretty cool looking cardstock...
Marcella plan on at least 45-an hour of time in there. We started looking at everything in site! There is also another paper store on the same block as Paper Acess. If you make a left out of the store it is on the left hand side. I was searching for petal paper and found them to be slightly cheaper than paper access.
