My FI and I are undecided on where we should go. He wants to go to Hawaii but I'm not too fond of flying and don't like the idea of being on a plane for 11 hours. So I need a nice romantic honeymoon spot that's not too far (no more than 5 hours) with a nice beach and FI hates high rise hotels so something with two stories and tropical. We were thinking the Royal Hideaway in the Mayan Riveria but now were hearing mixed reviews about their beach.
Any ideas? I would appreciate any suggestions.

We are staying at FH's family's timeshare which is at the Divi Aruba in Aruba, supposedly it has the best beach on the island. I believe they have all inclusive packages.

i would recommend my honeymoon island, but you have to fly on a little plane to get there... probably not the best idea if you dislike flying.
how about st. john? it is in the u.s. virgin islands, which are not too far, and i've heard it's fabulous!
or my all-time favorite island is nevis, which you can now get to without having to take a little plane. most people have only heard of the four seasons there... but there are actually several beautiful smaller hotels, which are charming and gorgeous but not as pricey as the four seasons... FM me if you'd like more info.
