I've narrowed down my venue search to two places. Crest Hollow and Fox Hollow. I love them both. ..I need some input from all of you. I'm stuck here. I can't make up my mind!

I wish I could help more, but I haven't checked out either place. I have been to a wedding at Fox Hollow that was in the Sommiler room and it was nice, we had a great time and I remember the food being good. I know when I was torn between two places I just tried to imagine which one I'd regret not having the wedding at. If that makes sense. Like I'd say 'ok it's venue A' but found myself leaning more towards venue B, so that's how I knew it had to be venue B. Also, pro/con lists tend to help me when making decisions. Hope this helps!

I'm actually booked at The Somerley at the Fox Hollow and personally, I love it. My banquet manager is fabulous and has been there to every single one of my annoying question and I met with the chef personally when I went to see my hall and the place just smelled amazing and I have heard fabulous things about the food.
They have also been really flexible in working with my mom and I in establishing a payment plan, which is great because as we all know, weddings can cost a ton of money, especially the venue.
I have a friend who had her wedding in the Winter Garden room at the Fox Hollow and it was a stunning wedding and she had the time of her life. The other great aspect of the Fox Hollow is that if you also have your ceremony with them, they provide all the decorations and flowers for the ceremony (obviously not your bouquet or anything like that, but the decor on the aisle).
If you have any other questions about the Fox Hollow I'll do my best to help!! The Crest Hollow is beautiful as well, but I never went there to look for my wedding, so I don't have any of the details.

The Somerley is part of the Fox Hollow it is on the same grounds the only difference is is that The Somerley is in it's own private building, and your wedding is the only wedding that is in that building the day of, all four floors are yours. (You also have a private parking lot and private valet for your guests). It also has a different menu than the rest of the Fox Hollow.

We were between Mansion at West Sayville Country Club (our venue), and Three Village Inn. We ended up just falling in love with the feel of the Mansion.

I've heard a lot of great things about Fox Hollow. I also think the Somerley is gorgeous. I haven't heard too much about Crest Hollow so based only on that limited info I would say Fox Hollow but really it comes down to your personal preference. Compare menu's and check out hotel options nearby or distance from your church, pricing? These could also help you decide. I'm sure it will be great no matter which one you choose. Good luck!

I originally wanted to have my wedding at Crest Hollow because the outdoor space is absolutely beautiful! However, we are having a winter wedding so the outdoor space really didn't matter in our case. If you are having an outdoor wedding I definitely think it would be an option. However the reason we didn't book with them is because the entire indoor decor and environment seemed very old and worm out. We also visited Fox Hollow and I thought it was beautiful. We would have booked there if their spaces weren't so small. They accommodate parties of 100 or so. I have heard wonderful things about Fox Hollow and the Somerley room. Good luck on your search!
