So I bought this French Connection dress for an event Im going to tonight. How should I dress it up?? Im a tomboy and dont know how to dress myself!

(and yes my bm's are wearing brown and I am freaking out about how it will look next to the black tuxes!)

2 weeks ago i was going out and getting dressed at his house, well i forgot to bring long socks so i ask him for a pair. I open his drawer and take out the first pair of long socks i see and they were dark blue, he grabbed them out of my hands and said W** are you doing those are blue, i told him that i am wearing long boots so NOBODY will see my socks. He said it doesnt matter, you know theyre blue so thats enough. So he gave me black socks to match the rest of my outfit lol, i understand coordinating but i thought this was a bit much lol. He matches his boxers to his outfits lol
the stockings thing gets to me too

I won't wear blue or brown socks with a black outfit either. FH wasn't thrilled about the brown and black for the wedding either, but we decided that the guys won't wear brown ties and vests. We will go with an ivory or another color. And for the pictures we are just going to pretend we don't notice hahaha.
