Leonards menager didnt call me back as he promised, so now im looking for a new hall, because i will not have my reception in the place where they dont have time for me.... Today I have appointment in Caffe on the green and they have my date available.... I will have 70pp probably on my wedding and I would like to pay up to $100 per personson, since our budget is very low.... I still need to pay for my grad school in sept.... Im looking for a great place afcorse, with outdoor area, bridal room and maybe around water.We live in Greenpoint, which is near williamsburg bridge. I dont want to travel further then LIE exit 34.... I dont want to have extra charges for providing a bus... I got good ideas from all of you yesterday, but I think I need more help... Ladies any suggestions...

Floral Terrace, Jericho Terrace and Westbury Manor are really cheap! You could afford a Friday night for sure and for only a tiny bit more, you could even have a Saturday night. Good Luck : )
Nooooooo Sat night at WM is not cheap, even a Sunday night at WM isnt that cheap and I beleive that goes for JT as well
Well, I was going off of what WM was at one time I guess..but as far as JT, I went there to check it out and it was under 100 for both Friday night and Saturday day....it wasn't much more than that on a Saturday night...we inquired about the Dome room, maybe that's whY???
who did you meet with? i know somebody getting married on a sunday in the dome room and they're paying $145 pp
penthouse i understand for under 100
I don't know about Sunday...didn't look into it. Wow, 145!! That's insane! Is that Viennese included maybe?

Another one to consider is Larkfield Manor, I heard is amazing inside and Milleridge Cottege, on Jericho Turn, really close to Queens

i know sunday is cheaper that was my point with posting the price that how could sunday be alot more expensive.
Even if lol viennese is not $45 per person, its $15
and im paying even more than that, yes its sat night and the big room but under $100 to what im paying is a HUGE difference.
if theyre giving out real low prices like that for the bigger rooms then im gonna have to talk to them...that is a real big difference from what i am paying. Not only that but im having 350 guests so regardless they would make money off of me, charging people less with smaller weddings is not fair

Denise- I inquired about Friday night and Saturday day...we couldn't do a Saturday night b/c of family. I don't know the exact price for night...but my FSIL is getting married there Saturday day...I'm going by her and what I know from here and there. Saturday night is defnitely over 120.00....without tax or Viennese..I have the book at home, but not sure if the prices are in it. Want me to check??

yeah it should be the same price, and business wise why charge less for smaller weddings
ive heard of people having a lower price but not by alot, 100 is a big difference for the bigger rooms...I do know someone who got $105pp w/ t&G but thats also bc he knew the owner very well, that makes more sense

Hey!!! So sorry to hear about your wedding hall dilemma. I have a few suggestions for you.
1. Floral Terrace is located in Queens. It is about $95 a person. It is not on the water. It is actually an old play/movie house. And you get practically a free honeymoon to the Greek Islands.
2. Sand Castle is located in Queens. I heard it is not over priced. However, not on the water.
3. Riviera is in Massapequa, on the water and about $100 per person.

Sand Castle is in Franklin Square not in Queens and Floral Terrace is right passed the Queens border but considered LI, but these are very close to Queens

I think douglaston manor is a great choice and heard the price is not that bad
Has anyone been to Douglaston Manor for a wedding? I was there for a HS reunion and the food was good, and the decor was nice. Very Mediteranean. The only thing I didnt like was the way the bridal suite had a balcony that overlooked the room.
I love CLM, VYC and Jerricho Terrace, but I am having between 60-70 people and I dont think VYC will do that. I know CLM wont, I inquired already. I wanted something on the water, but I think possibly Douglaston Manor might actually be nice.
Jerricho Terrace is still a possiblity, I think they will do that many people.

Thank you all so much...sorry i am at waork and i cant repply to all the messages....lankfield is to far for me....but i will check out other places for sure.... i guess i have bad day...MAY 24'08 for the wedding...plus its a saturday night....I believe everythink would work out well....
