I need your help girls .....doubting my Aruba decision

Ok i know you all are going to think I am crazy but I seriously am thinking baout cancelling Aruba .

I have realized how many people I am inconviencing including myself!

Alot of our family is not going including my Nana which really hurts me

So now I am thinking about going to look at places in NJ on the water

So I need help
I have a budget and I need to know if it is possible to pull this off with a certain amount of money ....(around 35K)

My orginal wedding in SI was 30k just for the hall! so I could use all the suggestions possible

The same thing happened to me. Originally I wanted to get married in Bermuda and we worked with a wedding planner there. After thinking about it I realized that it is a lot to expect people to pay for airfare and hotel and take days off from work and we wanted all of our friends and family to be able to come. You can definetly do it for $35,000! You just have to set a certian amount of guest and how much you want to spend per person. Also if you wait a little longer the halls pratically give dates away. when we booked our engagmen tparty they said that date was just cancelled by someone else and gave us an amazing price! so you might just get lucky! But you definetly can do it

I have no clue even where to start .....I know I can prob find a place but I am worried about the photo, video,dj and flowers

My cousin is getting married, and she is doing a destination wedding, but she is going to spain.
Wich i think is a HUGE inconvience, obviously i am not going and neither is my dad.
Why are we going to spend 2-3k to go there.

Aruba isnt as far, but i definately see you point, i honestly dont get destination weddings, my sister had one, and only her and her husband were there. and it makes me sad that i will never see my sister get married, or be in her wedding party.

i dont see how you cant do it with 35K ...i am planning a wedding for less than that! ... just cut corners where you can ... try doing a lot of DIY ... for photography ... dont get an album ... make one your self .... i havent done flowers yet but i am sure you can get a reasonable price ...everything should work out fine

Well if you have a destination wedding, you kind of have to realize that important people may not make it! And if thats okay with you...then I think DO IT...

But if you really want everyone there....you may want to look into having it here...it just depends on how you feel thats all.

If you keep it basic you can find somewhere to do it for 35K...and keep the guest count low.

you can do it...biggest thing is the guest list just cut it down a little bc you said before just reception before was gonna cost you 30k. And then figure out what other areas to budget for

yeah there are places you can find, if the pp is high then yeah its gonna be difficult so just look around.

I am saying this bc alot of girls on here have that budget and around that many guests so it should work out.

you can totally pull it off. When is your wedding?
Look for places by the water that will allow you to have a day wedding. Or a Sunday wedding or Friday night. This will cut your costs big time

go with vendors that will work within your budget and not push you to something more
