My GF had a beagle and she named him Bagel..I guess he was jewish...

He kept kosher..

have u seen icecream for dogs? they have them in the frozen foods sections in regular grocery stores!

That ice cream is all the rage on the dachshund website that I post on. Leslie would have a field day with the people who have more than one dog. They post pictures of 2 or more dogs together. Oh, the dialogue that could happen.

Just an idea...

I showed DH Fred's picture and he thinks that Maggie should be Fred's girlfriend.





She'll be thrilled if someone has a feather bed!!


But sadly, she isn't Jewish....

OOOH she's pretty! We have lots of interfaith relationships that are very successful. I fully support this one!

ohh she is soooo cute..

Fred says:

I was just trying to take another picture and she was too busy trying to make out with me, so she NEEDS a boyfriend!

Yeah, and I don't think Mags would wear a gown, this is what she did when we tried to have her wear an FDNY shirt (my DH is a FDNY EMT)

You may be on to something there Jen. Imagine kosher dog biscuits for our orthodox homes? They would have to be meatless I think. We could call them Beagle Bagels

She doesn't bark at all actually. It is the weirdest thing!! I take that back, she barks when DH plays with her, but that is b/c she knows that is what he wants.

Does Fred bark a lot? Or does he whine? She cries when I come home and let her out of the crate and DH is not there or vice versa.

Oh, how does Fred do in the car? Maggie HATES it, drools, pukes, cries, it is horrible! My parents have a house in Montauk and by the time we get out there with her, she has to be hosed off!! The vet said she'd outgrow it, but DH has a friend who has a beagle and he said his never outgrew it.

Did you and DH plan on getting a beagle? We just fell in love with her and are really happy with her.

Oh my god! Look how I am with my DOG, I can't imagine what I am going to be like when I have a kid!

ps-She is cuddled up with me while I write this.

AW! That is sad!! I don't come from a 'dog' family (although we had one til I was 14!) but they fell in love with Maggie. My dad especially, he loves to walk her when we are at their house, DH made up a version of 'Just the two of us' that he sings about them.

You can borrow Maggie for a little while if you want, she is a sweetheart.

Fred barks A LOT. He has been SO bad since we moved, I think it is a transition thing, but it is to the point where having company over is difficult. He thinks he needs to like gaurd the house or something. He is just so frekkin smart it is ridiculous.. he knows where we keep everything in the house and if something is out of whack he barks at it.

He is ok in the car sometimes, other times he cries and whines the entire time and sheds like crazy. My dad said that beagles tend to get really car sick(he used to go hunting all the time with a group that brought beagles)
