Ahhh I wasn't here, but I would've loled. But at least there was ZERO Kate on last night's episode.

I wonder if they are telling the truth about the whole hell and bottle cork thing. I hardly trust anything Lost does anymore, especially because for the past 6 effing years they've been denying that it had anything to do with hell/purgatory/the afterlife.

they said from the beginning that they were not 'dead, in purgatory or in hell. the whole thing isn't made up. they're not dreaming or imagining it.'

do you think the man in black is actually a real person who had a life off island before he got there? what about jacob?

just saw this post now ... LOL on the post (there, ya got a giggle, hahaha)

i thought last night's episode would be SOOOO revealing ... and yet, we didn't find anything out.

i don't believe they're in hell ... Richard Alpert believed that because Man-in-Black said it ... but Jacob denied it. I really really REALLY hope it's not hell ... i'd be extremely upset!

I have no idea! I mean he said he had a mother once, a long time ago before he looked like good old Locke. But can you trust a single word that comes out of his mouth? Especially if he is the devil! While I really enjoyed last night's episode, and was happy that it gave some history, especially about Ricardo, I found it very frustrating.

What was with all the time travel? The Dharma Initiative? Charles Widmore? Was that all for nothing?! It's irrelevant now? That's gonna piss me off big time!

yeah really the only thing is showed us was... that richard was a slave on the black rock which we sort've guessed already right? and then how he never ages. although... he asked jacob for him to never die. apparently he CAN die. just can't kill himself? or maybe he can't die. i dont know.

and i thought his backstory was kind of boring. i mean, i was expecting explosions of excitement.

i was kine of like.... womp womp womppp.

I actually kinda liked his history and thought it was interesting... but irrelevant! What does this have to do with anything?

OMG when they showed Richard riding that horse in the beginning of the episode, i burst out laughing ... i have no idea why, but that was so freakin' funny to me lol!

i am still wondering who is really the good guy vs the bad guy (jacob or man-in-black) ... i tend to think M.I.B. is bad because he said he was 'a friend' and, as Ben said at the end of season 2 (i think), 'it's the bad guys who go out of their way to say that they're good'

i'm so ready to get some answers already!!!

Haha I thought it was pretty funny, too. And he didn't wear nearly as much eyeliner in 1867.

I was dithering back and forth for a long time about who was good and who was bad. But I dunno, MIB seems pretty bad to me. He's killing people left and right. I've never seen Jacob kill anyone and he's always trying to get people 'to do the right thing' and then giving MIB a white rock to brag about it. LOL!

Now we understand about FLocke's line 'It's good to see you out of those chains Richard.' I thought he meant that he freed him from serving Jacob, but really he was just identifying himself as MIB.

yeah i mean it was an interesting story but... who cares?

i still am not convinced that jacob is the good guy.

but who knows!

'The time for answers is now'

Yeah ... right

I actually want answers NOW... and BIG answers.

Me, too. There's not many episodes left! 6? 7? And then the finale. They are going to leave everything until the finale I bet.

Yeah, 7 left + the 2 hour finale ... and as you said, they won't tell us sh!t until the last episode! so annoying.

oh, so what do you guys think about Richard's wife being on the island? was it really her on the boat? was Richard hallucinating? was it smokey taking her shape (and if so, how did he know what she looked like)?

i think it was just smokey.

It had to be smokey. I think he can just take the shape of any dead person. That's why he was Christian Shephard, Locke, and Isabella.

Yeah but he was able to take on those people's shapes because their dead bodies were actually on the island ....

FH thinks it's because Smokey 'read' Richard's mind when he was floating next to him (when Richard was in chains)

yeah i think that's how he does it. i dont think the body needs to be there.
