It had to be smokey. I think he can just take the shape of any dead person. That's why he was Christian Shephard, Locke, and Isabella.

Yeah but he was able to take on those people's shapes because their dead bodies were actually on the island ....

FH thinks it's because Smokey 'read' Richard's mind when he was floating next to him (when Richard was in chains)

Hmm it's always possible. But we really have no way of knowing if Christian Shephard's body was on the island. The casket was empty and they never found him. He could've fallen out anywhere. But more than likely he's somewhere on the island or around it. Maybe it got eaten by the Dharma shark.

i guess it doesn't matter ... the Lost writers are just making this stuff up at this point

i'm disappointed becuase i know we're going to be left still asking tons of questions!

Oh yeah!! I forgot he existed!!! That seems like a different show entirely! Same thing with Desmond. Are we going to see anymore of him? I miss him. Daniel Farraday told us he was 'special' and the 'rules don't apply to him'. What rules? W*T*F?

i THINK (don't quote me on this) that desmond has an episode centered around him at some point ...

hopefully we'll find out some info at that point.

we're screwed regarding Walt though ... he got too old these past 6 years so they're just going to pretend he never existed lol

Desmond & Daniel Faraday BETTER be back though - they are two of my top faves

i really liked last night's episode - I wish Richard's background was a little less horseback rider and a little more '*** has his life been on the island since he was granted eternal life.' That's what I wanted to see more of - how he either helped or failed to help the people who were brought to the island by Jacob.

And for Hurley's sake, it would be nice for to see more Libby.

they couldn't do an alternate reality for Richard because it would be boring (his wife dies, he gets hanged, the end lol)

yeah i think the alternate realities will resume next week - this was just an episode fully committed to showing Richard's backstory.

Also, I think they were F-ing w/ us regarding being dead and Hell, b/c that's what fans have been saying from the beginning.

i thought last night's episode would be SOOOO revealing ... and yet, we didn't find anything out.

i don't believe they're in hell ... Richard Alpert believed that because Man-in-Black said it ... but Jacob denied it. I really really REALLY hope it's not hell ... i'd be extremely upset!

I really LOVED last nights episode. im a big Richard fan,

but yeah i guess everyone already knew he was a slave. but atleast it did answer why he hasn't aged. And also, why Jocob, keeps bringing people to the island,

I also want Desmond/Daniel back, last season i thought was the best with all the time travel science stuff. Last night episode was atleast my fav from this season.

But why does Smokie/Locke/Man in black, just kill of some people? why doesnt he just kill the 6 to replace Jacob.

I also dont think its hell. Why would jacob be bringing people to hell, he said Man in black thinks everyone can turn evil so he brings people to the island to prove him wrong.

i remember a few years reading an interview where the creators said their biggest inspiration was the show Twin Peaks, which was about good vs evil i believe.

I think her time is up when they head over to Hydra Island in an Outrigger...I think that Juliet's time traveling bullet is gonna blow Kate's brains out and then Sawyer's gonna flip on Widmore because he said that he didn't want anyone in his boat harmed, and really who would he flip over the most??

Maaaaaaaaaaaan f her, I hate her.



Also, guyliner seriously could have had a more interesting episode. Basically everything that happened up until the last 10 minutes that was 'revealing' had really already been sussed out. Whutever, even after that it wasn't that great.

Becki and I decided to watch the finale chained up so after its done and hasn't answered any questions we won't kill ourselves/others. Who's up for it?? It could be a theme, we could all be Black Rock slaves!!
