that FH is such a SLOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

we are playing house for a few days...my parents are on vacay and i hate being in my house alone at night so he has been here...girls...he is such a messs!!!! i had no clue!!!!! i mean yes they are usually sloppy and what not...but oh my lord....he just leaves stufff EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im going to hurt him....lol....

i mean his room is a little cluttered but thats bec its small or so i thought....oh man we are going to have to do some kind of prep before there is any moving in....

lol...

anyone else have this situation?!??!

nope...FH is a neat freak...its the other end of the spectrum of annoying!!!

he'll clean up after me WHILE im cooking, and ill be like 'wheres the knife i was using???' and its in the dishwasher....so annoying...

and when he comes to my house, even if i just got up, he'll make my bed!

they are all messey. the only time my FH will pick some piece of clothing up off the floor is if i am standing in the room with him.

the worst ever was when we first moved in together & he would leave his wet bath towel on my side of the bed all day!!!

You need to lay down the law right away. When FH & I first moved in together, he would leave his stuff on the floor, pants ,belts ,shirts, socks....so I gathered them up put them in a garbage bag & put them outside with the garbage. When he asked 'did you see my whatever' I told him you left them on the floor so I figured you didn't want them anymore so I put them in the garbage.........lucky for you the garbage men didn't come yet so if you want them.........they are outside. He bugged out a bit , I said nothing, now he puts all his stuff away. He knows I'm crazy enough to chuck it out if it's not in it's place.

LMAO....ahhahahahahahaha...a girl after my own heart...ahahahahahhahahaha...you just made me laugh so hard i creid al ittle.....see he laid out everything he needs for the next few days and there was CLUTTER everyehrre.....i am by no means a neat freak but i HATE ckutter!! and btwn all the wedding stuff and my gard school stuff I couldnt handle one more cluttery thing....I started packing up all of his stuff and hes like what are you doing?!?!!? i said babe...your not on vacation where you can unpack alll of yuour stuff and lay it out....so now everything is de-cluttered...men should def have to go to a training class before they move in with us!!!!!

I was gonna say the same thing, you gotta train them right away. Not like mine is good or anything, he likes to pile clothes on all the chairs, so annoying.

My FH is a slob too. He leaves ash trays, remote controls, X-Box controllers, everything on the floor. But the worst is his dirty laundry.....like I'm sorry but how much harder is it to walk into the closet and put your dirty clothes in the HAMPER INSTEAD OF ON THE FLOOR??????????

But I've come to realize there is no changing this and I will forever be the one to pick it up. However, he has many other chores to make up for this.

agreed. he's not going to change. and if they do it a few times, they're doing it to shut us up but then they'll forget and go right back to how it was in beginning.

ita...it is just something you have to live with. On isolated occassions I can get FH to clean up his mess but on a day to day basis I have to do it or it will sit there forever

I also agree with this...ikmagine getting home from your honeymoon and 10 minutes later it looks like a hurricane hit!!!

There are some things you can change and some things you have to get use to...pick your battles!!!

i forth this comment - you need to get all those little things out there and you will notice things you never did before.

but in my case, its the opposite in my house, i'm the slob who just throws my stuff wherever it lands and he is a neat freak.
