Our projected budget is up to $64K..

I like how we thought our wedding would cost $30K.

We're not even going crazy with anything other than the hall.

We were around that too!!!
But then I wanted and Extra photographer... Xtra hrs of Video...
So with honeymoon, rings, Everythign is less than 20k!

We were closer to 10K but then we decided to add on video...but i want a house also so i dont want to spend a fortune on one day

=) and im glad we are on budget n on track with everything!
We did thought about everything for the future: house, kids, tec... and we decided we should not spend More than 15k... But we will be aroun 18k i believe...

We never accounted for the honeymoon in our original budget, so that made us go 'over' technically, but for the wedding itself, I originally thought we were going to be at about $10K (I did not account for video, rings, officiant, and tips in this originally) - so when that got added in, we were below $15K for the wedding, and then the honeymoon was the additional cost.

holy moly i hear ya

we originally had a $40K budget but it is now $50K+ for a november wedding on a friday night

kinda in the same boat, original wedding budget was $50k we're now at $60k for a November Wedding on a Saturday Night

we set a budget and only went over my about 5K

I was very strict because I did not want to go into debt over the wedding

It's too late! I needed you like a year ago!

I really didn't go crazy on much actually. Just the hall. The hall was $10K over budget.

Then Fh started going crazy with GM gifts, so then I had to step up my BM gifts, so that was a recent unexpected expenditure of a few extra hundred.

We also got like the top photo and video packages.
