its not that you od'ed but sounds more like you had an allergic reaction to the medication
HOLY SH*T....I can't believe that! How high was the miligrams on the Ibuprofen? I would have been a crazy wreck and went to the hospital. I'm so glad you're ok though.

OMG. . .I am glad you are ok. Cramps are the worst!!
I OD'd on Advil once and my stomach was a mess. I had the worst stomach cramps ever and could not get off the toilet. sorry if that's tmi, but it's true and it was horrible!

I don't know what the formal definition of ODing is, but I just figured that that's what happened because I took too much than I should have and had a bad reaction to it...it definitely could've been worst, I'm grateful everything worked out... so I know you girls have probably heard this before....but here's a word of advice: don't swallow any random, unknown pills that someone hands to you!![]()

Do you know what kind of med it was? Bec ibuprofen is just Advil or Motrin, no prescription needed, unless it was a high dosage.

It was in a prescription bottle and it definitely wasn't a regular over the counter drug....FMIL said they were painkillers but the only ingredient was ibuprofen...it was definitely a higher dosage than the typical advil or aleve but I didn't think I would have a reaction to it because i'm popping aleve all the time either because it's that time of the month, ot i'm having a killer headache..
