I am soooooo excited I ordered my Monique Luhullier dress today! I am getting the coco skirt and the Jacqueline (cap sleeve top) all in bridal white.
Now for my vendor rave, I went to the Iman Bridal Salon in Upper Brookville to show my mom and grandma the dress my bridesmaids and I selected for them to wear. Mom approved , but she also wanted me to try on other wedding dresses (before we went to the Wedding Salon to order my dress), well I tried on all the dresses that she asked me to wear, but Iman the owner of the store could see the look on my face that my Monique dress was 'the one' so she said to my mom, look I don't carry that line, but I will call the owner of the other store that carries the dress and see if she can give you a discount, so she did and got me a LOT of $ off of my dress. She totally did not have to do this, after all I am not purchasing my wedding dress from her and she was not even told that I was giving her the order for my bridesmaid dresses. I was floored. She is the absolutely best person in the bridal industry. (and yes my girls are getting their dress from her) I thought I would pass on the info. b/c you have all been so good at recommending places to me.
