I was second guessing my wedding dress (the Monique Lhuillier ballgown) for a few weeks now. Then came the nightmares. I called Wedding Salon of Manhasset and went in and saw my lady today. And we switched the order. I re-tried on my dress again and didn't feel it. We went next door to Vera Wang and the 2nd one I tried on was THE ONE. The RIGHT one. Only it was in purple! LOL So I didn't take any pics of me in it (which is a good thing, b/c I think part of the reason my other dress lost its lustre was b/c I looked at it too much).
So without further adieu, here is my dress. No turning back now! It's been re-ordered (which they were fantastic about, by the way). AND it was $500 less than the first dress.
The color I ordered it in is blush. Its not as pink in person as it is in the pic, but even still...WHO CARES? It's fabulous!

Thanks girls!! I think I ordered the 1st dress too quickly without really thinking about it. Originally I wanted this style gown, before I even started looking. Thank goodness I went early,, they hadn't even put in the order for the other dress yet (apparently they wait to put in the order so your dress isn't hanging in a closet for too long.) We're gonna do the bow asymmetrical so it gives a 1 shoulder illusion. Its really fantastic and the details on it are amazing.

I'm totally a mess! Love ya too girl! I realize my style will never be 'sweet'...its more daring and bombshell-esque. I totally got the chills and had the moment in this (even though it was purple)..LOL

i know what you mean...i never even tried on a big ball gown...i am a true vampy bombshell girl (in my own mind at least) lol....you know it when it feels like second skin....oooohhhh....and i love the dramatic bow... FIERCE love FIERCE!!!

The vera wang dress is beautiful!! Both dresses were amazing, I would have killed for the Monique Lhuillier! you will look amazing in your new dress. Congrats!

Dana all I can say is you're lucky to not have gotten your dress yet. The more time you have to order the better! I shouldn't have jumped on the bandwagon so fast, but it all worked out great in the end.
