I tried to do a few a night b/c I get frustrated easily and I still had one or two that got stuck.
Mel, I can help you do them if you need. What size envelope are you using? What color are you printing the addresses in?

aww hon. Don't dry it will be all right. i went through my wedding invite probs too. Just get extra envelops if you can. Print at work or a friends somewhere. You can filter the addresses in excell to filter out the incomplete ones. You can even do a mail merge & get all the envelops prepped to be printed. save the file & take to somewhere to print.
what i did to text out a printer was cut out a BUNCH or pieces of paper in teh same size as the envelop then indicate where the flay was (draw it) that way you know how to feed the envelops correctly in the feeder.
My advice also if it the printer has a bypass feeder use that, pulling from the bin ruins most envelops.
Hope that helps hon!

Re: I seriously feel like crying
I know how you feel, I went through the envelope addressing fiasco this past weekend. I had extra envelopes, but the ink from the printer still managed to ruin enough that I'm 17 short. So I'm picking up 25 extra envelopes tomorrow and hopefully get the remaining invites out by the end of this week.
Don't worry though you have plenty of time, not like me
Here's some for ya!

i was using 5.25x7.25 envelopes. i was just using black ink even though it doesn't match the invites the envelope is stark white anyway.

What about using clear address labels to print on.

dont cry- can you send the file to a friend's house who has excel and maybe try and fix it there?

Re: I seriously feel like crying
clear address labels won't work either...the printer has a side feed thingy that always twists the paper up and makes it uneven or just gets it jammed repeatedly.

don't worry..
1. save labels to a flash drive and go to kinkos to print on one of their comp. or your local library.
2. can you use labels ??

Do you have any friends who have better printers that would let you use theirs??? Or a relative??

What about Kinkos? Can you try there?
I know exactly how you feel. I ended up doing mine at work. It took me 2 hours to do 5 envelopes at home with 19 wasted and 20 minutes to do 100 at work. what about a friend or family member with a good printer?

Ok ok, I know what will make you feel better...
You are doing this now (check your wedding date)...
I am still waiting for my envelopes to arrive with the return address on them so I can have the same battle with the guests' addresses this week (check my wedding date)
