I should have brought an umbrella because it POURED
I had such a great shower today! My mom, sister and moh did a fab job and I really enjoyed myself.
The only glitches were that three of my friends who rsvp'd yes did not show up and fh's cousin was a no-show. I think that is beyond rude, and no one has heard from any of them but one, so I say to h*ll with them.One of my friends who didn't show - her dh called my fh while we were driving home and I answered. He was all like 'whats up?' and I said 'coming home from my bridal shower' to which then the wife (my friend) got on and said she forgot about it and only knew it was today because she saw someone post on my facebook about how much fun they had. yeah ok. They used the same excuse last month for a baptism. She kept saying 'Fh knows I bought you a present'. Seriously? Who cares. She then said 'I hope you don't hate me forever'.![]()
The other two girls who are my friends - well - whatever!!
The people that mattered the most showed up and I had a ball. I even got the bedding I wanted!!
Now fh has finally decided that we need to buy a bigger place, bc right now we cannot walk in the living room, and we have no idea what to do with all the great gifts!! What problems, huh?!![]()
