I survived 24 hours without breastfeeding....
....it was the toughest night of my life. My poor baby couldn't understand why he wasn't getting boob juice![]()
I ended up sleeping most of the day yesterday, but at around 7pm Damien was like enough with the bottles, I want the boob. I actually got him to use a pacifer last night to go to sleep after his last bottle(he would always spit them out) he must have been desperate![]()
He woke up periodically all through the night but at 3am he wanted to nurse so we had to get him a bottle.
I have got to give you Moms who pump all the time or just give formula major props. Steve and I were stumbling around like a comedy show![]()
Usually I just pop a boob in his mouth and we both go back to sleep. I was so sleepy from pain killers but I had to keep myself awake because he was not taking the bottle that great. I was so exhasted when he was done I forgot to pump and woke up in such pain from engorgement, on top of my mouth pain. I was actually crying.
When I finally gave Damien a boobie feeding late this morning he was so damn happy![]()
Thank goodness this night is over. Now if only my mouth would feel better.
Oh an if one more person says so and so had it done and they did a, b and c the next day. I am going to scream!!! I'm a big baby when it comes to pain so just let me be in pain!!!!![]()
